Too much TV is never enough. Some may beg to differ, but I'm fully aware that millions share my sentiment. TV, drug of a nation. But a good drug. Like asprin. Or cough lollies. A drug that makes you feel better. Not one of those nasty addictive ones that ruins lives... Hmmmm, I'm digging the hole deeper aren't I?

If I was doing a live TV piece right now I'd be screwed. Luckily for me I can simply go back and edit that later. If I remember. Where was I? TV! It's darn tootin' grrrreat! And thank heavens we're back in the ratings period so no more re-runs or dodgy reality TV shows to suffer through.

There's so much to fit into my schedule I'm feeling a little light headed, but never fear I am up to the task. And to help me in my endeavors is today's thingy. A TV tuner that can turn my humble puter monitor into an all singing, all dancing t-e-l-e-v-i-s-i-o-n!!!

Hell of a loolya! Just when I was worrying that I didn't have a TV in every room of the house along comes this little guy to save me! Sick of bickering over what to watch? Grab today's thingy and you'll have one more TV and so one less argument! You simply plug it into your monitor (LCD or CRT) and lickety-split it'll be tuning in the channels for your viewing pleasure. You don't even need an actual puter (you know that big box bit that whirs and does all the computering stuff). You plug the tuner directly into the monitor. Did I already mention that? Oh. Just wanted to be clear.

Maybe you've got a spare monitor gathering dust, or you're thinking of upgrading your puter's current screen. Instead of chucking it or getting a few measly dollars from eBay, grab today's tuner and turn it into an extra telly! Think about it. A 22" LCD TV will set you back around $500. Whereas a 22" monitor $300ish and the tuner for less than $30 (plus shipping). You do the math.

Maybe you already have a telly in every room at your place (you lucky bastard) but do you have a telly at work? Plug this into your work computer and you can secretly  (if you're a lowly drone) or blatantly (if you're the obnoxious boss) watch your fave daytime teeve while/instead of working. Your cubicle will become the lunchtime hangout! Great way to meet people and dare I say it, even pick up!

So, once again TV proves itself to be the all conquering, all powerful beast that it is! Not even your computer is safe from its insidious powers... I'm making TV sound bad again, aren't I? Doh! More editing for later on. Damn it.

Grab yours today - they won't be here tomorrow.
